Editorial policy
We publish information about medicines, which means the standard has to be higher than for ordinary web content. Every factual claim traces to a named source. We do not give medical advice, we do not assess individual suitability, and we correct errors publicly.
What we publish
Pricing, funding and access information about licensed GLP-1 treatments available to patients in Ireland. Factual, sourced, and written to answer the question a reader actually arrived with.
What we do not publish
- Medical advice. We describe what treatments are and cost. Whether one suits you is a decision for a registered clinician who can assess you.
- Individual dose guidance. We show the published titration schedule. We do not calculate doses.
- Fabricated social proof. No invented reviews, no star ratings, no testimonials we have not received.
- Before-and-after imagery presented as our own patients’ results.
- Paid placement. No pharmacy or clinic can pay to rank above another here.
Sourcing standard
Regulatory statements come from the HPRA or the EMA. Scheme rules come from the HSE or Citizens Information. Clinical claims come from published trial literature, named in the text. We link to sources rather than paraphrasing them silently.
Where evidence is weak or contested, we say so in the sentence rather than presenting it as settled.
Review
Pricing and funding pages carry no clinical review because they make no clinical claim. They are checked against source documents instead.
Pages that describe how a medicine works, its dosing or its side effects fall into a different category and we are working on securing review by a registered Irish healthcare professional. Until that is in place, those pages state plainly that they are not medical advice and link to the EMA product information.
We would rather say that openly than imply a review process we do not yet have.
Corrections
Errors get corrected and logged publicly, with the date and what changed. We do not quietly edit and move on. See .
Independence and funding
We sell no medication and take no commission from anyone who does. If that ever changes, this page will say so before the change takes effect, and every affected page will carry a visible disclosure.
