What we can help you with
- Finding the best price near you. The same pack of Mounjaro or Wegovy can differ by €40 or more between two Irish pharmacies. See current weight loss injection prices in Ireland for the published figures first.
- Choosing which treatment to ask about. We will not tell you which one to take, but we can lay out the trade-offs. Our comparison of all five treatments covers cost per kilogram, dosing and licensing.
- Connecting you to a prescriber. Only a registered Irish prescriber can write the prescription. Our guide to getting a weight loss prescription in Ireland sets out the three routes that work.
- Funding and scheme questions. Whether the Drugs Payment Scheme, a medical card, the Long Term Illness Scheme or private health insurance applies to your situation.
- Correcting a price or a fact. Tell us the page and the figure. Every correction is logged publicly on the .
What we cannot help you with
- Medical advice. Whether a GLP-1 treatment suits you depends on your history, your BMI and your other medicines. That is a question for a clinician who can examine you, not for us and not for a web page.
- Supplying the medicine. Prescription medicines cannot lawfully be supplied online in Ireland. They must be prescribed by a registered prescriber and dispensed by a registered Irish pharmacy. Anyone offering to post you Mounjaro without a prescription is breaking the law, and the HPRA detained over 750,000 units of illegal medicines in 2025.
- Dose changes. If a dose is not working or the side effects are hard, that conversation belongs with your prescriber. Our guide to GLP-1 side effects covers what is common and what needs a doctor.
- Urgent symptoms. If you are unwell, contact your GP, an out-of-hours service, or in an emergency call 112 or 999.

How we handle what you send us
We collect the minimum we need to answer you: your name, how to contact you, which treatment you are asking about and where you are. Your county is what lets us check prices near you, which is why we ask for it. We do not sell your data, we do not add you to a mailing list, and we do not pass your details to any third party who is not named on this page.
Because this is health-adjacent information, we keep enquiry records only as long as we need them to deal with your question. The full detail is in our privacy notice, and the legal basis and company details are on the legal notice. If you want your enquiry deleted, email us and it will be.
Before you get in touch
Most questions are already answered, and you will get to the number faster by reading first. Start with what each treatment costs in Ireland, then how the five GLP-1 treatments differ. If your question is about who pays, the Drugs Payment Scheme page covers the rule that catches most people out. If you want to know how we arrive at our figures, that is set out on the methodology page, and the person responsible for them is named on the editor page.
