Who researches Slim4Medoc’s Irish GLP-1 price guides
Every page on this site is written and maintained by one named person, so that if a figure is wrong there is somebody to hold responsible for it. That work is done by Rodrigue Monpea, editor of Slim4Medoc.
What the editor’s expertise actually is
It is worth being precise about this, because health sites routinely overstate it. The expertise here is commercial and regulatory, not clinical. It covers what these five treatments cost in Ireland, which pack sizes and strengths are actually available, how the Drugs Payment Scheme, the medical card and the Long Term Illness Scheme decide who pays what, and which prescribing routes exist under Irish law.
Slim4Medoc SAS is a French company that works with dispensing pharmacy supply, which means treatment pricing is first-party knowledge rather than something scraped from other websites. That is the genuine experience this site brings.
What the editor is not is a doctor, a pharmacist or a prescriber. Nothing published here is medical advice, and no page will tell you which treatment is right for you. That decision belongs to a registered Irish prescriber who has examined you.
How clinical information on this site is handled
Where a page states something clinical, such as a titration schedule, a licensed indication or a side effect profile, it is taken from the product’s Summary of Product Characteristics or from the published trial, and the source is named on the page. Clinical claims here are reported from the manufacturer’s own documentation, not generated.
Anything that requires a judgement about you specifically belongs with a registered prescriber who has assessed you. That is a line we hold to on every page.
How prices on this site are verified
Treatment prices come from actual supply pricing, not from estimates or from other websites. Consultation and monitoring costs are ranges taken from published Irish clinic and GP fees. Scheme thresholds such as the €80 Drugs Payment Scheme cap and the €1.50 medical card charge come from the HSE.
The full method, including what is deliberately excluded from a headline figure, is set out on the methodology page.
